For decades, generous and faith‑filled donors have helped Catholic values shine across Manitoba. Their gifts have supported works of compassion, education, and service—planting seeds of hope that continue to grow today.
The Catholic Foundation of Manitoba began in 1964 through the vision of the Knights of Columbus and a humble first gift of $10,000 from the Manitoba State Council. From that small beginning, countless acts of generosity have followed. Bequests from estates, ongoing support from Knights of Columbus councils, contributions from organizations, and gifts from individuals from every walk of life have steadily strengthened the Foundation’s capital funds.
With only minimal administrative costs, these gifts have been invested to create permanent endowment funds. Each year, the income from these funds is shared as grants to organizations whose work reflects the heart of the Catholic faith.
Because of the generosity of our donors, more than $2 million in grants have been given to charities that bring Christ’s love into the world. Together, our donors have built a legacy that continues to nurture Catholic values and uplift communities across Manitoba.
