Gabriel Langlois
Gabriel Langlois, who lives up to his nickname of Dancing Gabe, is a well-known Winnipeg iconic sports fan. He has received many awards for his devotion to volunteerism, his community spirit and his positive impact on his community. He brings joy and passion at Winnipeg sporting events and provides hope to all of us by defying limitations and overcoming challenges surrounding autism.
Lisowski Family
The Lisowski’s are a family of five consisting of parents, Mike and Cheryl and their three sons, Joshua, Isaac and Benjamin. In early childhood, each of the three boys were diagnosed with Cabeza syndrome, an intellectual developmental disorder which also severely affected their ability to speak.
It is through their faith and support from their community that surrounds them where they have learned to overcome adversities. What might be seen as a challenge to those around them, they have come to see as a blessing. The Lisowski’s continue to advocate for those who have yet to find their voice.
